I have been so absent from livejournal.

I apologize. I've turned into what I think is called a lurker. Those people who read the entries you post but for some strange reason just don't comment. Are they called lurkers? Because that is who I am.

Also. I had promised myself that I would make an update listing all orientation activities done, more for my benefit. But clearly, that never happened.

Now. College.

Not bad so far. Not 'effing awesome or anything. But I think I might survive. I mean sure I am already really behind on my reading because I think my stupid "senioritis" has not yet disappeared which is really very detrimental to my studies, but I have full hope that it will go away soon.

Can't wait till tv starts. However, am freaking out about having to balance with the insane amounts of reading.

I'm just gonna bullet list a bunch of things, in no particular subject order, that I've wanted to say over like the last two or three weeks or however long it's been.

REAL LIFE
(--) Summer's over.
(--) School started.
(+) School rented Ellis Island for orientation. Sounds cooler than it was, but still. Much appreciated, just because it was really surreal.
(+) Saw a HUGE RED MOON near the horizon. I'd never seen anything so effing amazing. Some people said it was a "harvest moon".
(--) Forgot to take my camera to Ellis Island. WTF.
(--) Calculus teacher has accent, and is sorta crazy.
(+) Pretty funny. Funny looking/acting to be honest.
(--) Sociology teacher bashed psychologists. WTF. Or maybe not really "bashed" but still.
(+) English teacher is SUPER SWANK. And I mean seriously super swank. She's really stylish and speaks quite amazingly.
(+) Bio Lab teacher reminds me of Molly Weasley from the Harry Potter movies.
(--) She doesn't seem very nice. Or I mean she seems more of a "answer it yourself, I won't help you" type.
(--) SO SO MUCH money being spent on books and shit. I hate it.
(--) SO MUCH READING. SO MUCH WORK. BUT MOSTLY. READING.

NOT REAL LIFE
(+) James McAvoy.
(?) Britney Spears at the VMA's. I just. I feel so bad. Like I didn't think it was as miserable as I thought it was after reading reviews and seeing pictures and stuff.
(--) WTF NO SARAH WAYNE CALLIS. WHAT IN THE HELL?!
(+) Prison Break still starts this Monday.
(--) But with slutty women who's bras you can see THROUGH THEIR SUITS. WHAT?!

I'm digging these (+) (--) lists man.

Question: Does anyone somehow have Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/Loveshow that aired on HBO on Labor Day, and that is airing on HBO RIGHT.NOW?!

Apology: I'm so sorry to everyone on the f-list. I wouldn't be surprised if you all de-friended me. I really needa try to catch-up, possibly during the weekend. Sorry times a billion "homies". Which reminds me, my friend thought the expression was "HOS BEFORE BROS" as opposed to the other way around. What a fool.

My legs hurt like hell. Or not like hell, really. But they just hurt.

I missed the Kid's Choice Awards. I always miss it. Maybe it's unconsciously intentional. That doesn't make sense. But two notable things I caught while watching highlights with my nephew:

• Maroon 5 has new song out. Here's the link to a high quality, but radio (blech) version. I have no idea what language that man is speaking. But I like the chorus of the song quite a lot. So much so I put it in a Jim/Pam wp I made, and the lyrics don't really fit.


• And...WOAH STEVE CARELL.

As much as I love Tobey Maguire and as much as I am looking forward to the new Spider-Man, he looks really tiny next to...once again Steve Carell. I wonder why he's so buff. I always had an unexplainable crush on him since I think 40 Year Old Virgin.

This sort of validates it (hehee).

Spring Break....I'll miss thee.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARAH!!!!!!!! I hope you see this entry yo! Thank gosh it was your shoulder my head bumped into. Hahha. I think I now know at least 20 people that have December birthdays. YAY!

 
Second of all so so so sorry to the f-list that I have pretty much not paid attention to for months. I sometimes lurk and read entries but never comment. I’m just too horrible for words.

 

I really like Justin Timberlake. I remember how I hated him back when "Rock Your Body" or whatever came out. Now I'm pretty much in love with him. I also really like that boy in that Cingular commercial with Ludacris and the Pussycat Dolls and I think Ok Go or something. The one with the Asian lady with the grillz (that's what the diamond braces are called right?) Yea. They just showed that commercial.

I feel accomplished. Sad to say it's because I've updated my livejournal.
