So here it goes. alias_jems picked 1/3 of my icons (haha) for me to do:

So these two and their relationship are one of the greatest things about Lost. This scene in the finale was awesome and the follow-up scenes in the season premiere were amazing. I love Jack and his crazy complexes, and honestly, after Ben came on Lost, every thing he has done has been pretty damn awesome. Also it's just a really very pretty icon, it's a little cartoonish just because they look like they're not really standing in front of that awesome background

Hahha oh Dwight. I had always seen Dwight as this incredibly annoying character because I loved Jim. But this was so awesome. This was after Jim left to Scranton on The Office and Dwight claimed "I miss Jim. Oooh I cry myself to sleep. Oooh Jim! FALSE. I do not miss him" and it was awesomely hilarious. Also again look at the colors, such an amazing, cool, retro maybe?, icon.

Don't really have much to say except Hugh Laurie being his awesome self is pretty much the only good that is left about House and so this is him on a rare moment smiling. I don't even really know when this is from, but I didn't have a new House icon, and I saw this, and snagged it.

This is the Pie-Hole from Pushing Daisies my new wonderfully loved and adored fandom. I love Ned and his pie making, and the floor tiles of the Pie-Hole are so visually wonderful so thank you to the directors for this shot and thank you to jimslayer for making this icon.

5.
This is the bottom half of Christian Bale's amazingly structured jaw/face. I think  that's all I have to say.

I'm excited because I made icons again although I don't know how back-dated and/or ugly they are because being out of practice sort of sucks. But yea, thanks to Pushing Daisies and its amazing colors and Lee Pace's adorable face, and the other awesome icon makers whose PD icons I've been looking at, I'm using Photoshop to make some 100x100 awesomeness. Awesomeness as in the idea not the end result or product...if that makes sense.

I think I'm going to make one of those Movies 2008 lists that nearly every other person on my f-list has...it's a neat idea. But since I can't make sticky posts I guess I'll just repost it every time I feel like I've made a really valuable addition or something.

Alright then. I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Not too crazy stressful hopefully, because crazy stress will make all your hair fall out. Like mine!

I had a really late breakfast since I woke up late, seeing as it was my LAST DAY OF VACATION (OMFG), and I just ate a really heavy lunch. Bad decision making.

Hahah I'm such an idiot. Riley did this meme where you explain 3 interests and 3 icons, and then you ask your friends who comment on the entry about 3 icons and 3 interests of their own, and they post the answers in their own post in their own journal. I gave her my answers as a comment to her post. ahahha. so dumb.

Ok. So let's pretend that did not happen. Here are the things that were asked:

Interests:
coloring books:  because I just love coloring in those wonderfully boldly outlined pictures. everything just looks so pretty once you finish coloring it. and since I suck at drawing, it's nice to just color.

sharpies: they're associated with the coloring I guess. Love their vibrant colors, and how smoothly they flow, and I sort of like the smell. Don't know how odd that is.

foreign men: hhaha wth I didn't know I had this. I think mostly I meant foreign accents. And by foreign I mean mostly European and Australian. I just dig accents.

This is from Little Miss Sunshine which is one of my most favorite movies. I just love how you can hardly see the bus, and the icon is just so beautiful.


Hahah this is from The Office when Dwight insisted on shredding paper, which reeaallllly ticked off Jim who was trying to make a phone call and couldn't hear anything because of the static. Hence the shredder.


Not really relevant/funny if you don't watch the show, but Jim's imitation of Dwight. Priceless scene.

On other actual nonfandom news, stupid school starts on the 5th. DEATH. I haven't been studying for the SAT's which I'm retaking in October. Dammit. And just to bring it back to tv House starts on the day school starts. SO now...God's pretty much telling me that tv will conflict with school this entire year. Gosh. Darnit.

I went to Cony Island. 'Twas fun. The Cyclone would've been funner if I didn't bang up my nose with my glasses. Stupid glasses. Went to the Natural Museum of History and my god the gems they had there were friggin gorgeous. GORGEOUS. There was this really pretty diamond necklace. And I don't know, but they were too pretty to be real.

My 5 random facts.

1) I don't read books. As much as I want to the only books I read are the HP ones, and even those I read like 4,5 and 6 all this summer. I'm promising myseld that I'll start, and finish reading Pride and Prejudice by the end of this weekend.

2) I know this may be common, but I am a horrible horrible procrastinator. I'll procrastinate in doing things I enjoy too, like watching a movie or updating LJ :p

3) I easily become addicted to shows. And by addicted, I mean look up fan-sites, make fan-art, dwnld anything related to the show etc.

4) I had milkshake with orange juice and grapes this past week. It wasn't taht bad...'cept it had a VERY bad after taste. Heh. I didn't make it.

5) And...I like rewatching movies that I've seen already on tv more than on DVD.
